Born from grief, I interrogate the sensuous familiar form, defiant against hegemonic molds. Imbued with eroticism, a totem embodies a fierce autonomy. Far from conventional, it carries power and a raw, unapologetic grace. I liken the flower to me, to femininity, the rose, the thorn, the chaotic growth of nature.
