'The Earth Would Die If The Sun Stopped Kissing Her' by Eman Ali, Solo Show by Eman Ali

“The Earth Would Die If The Sun Stopped Kissing Her” (太陽がキスをやめたら、地球は死んでしまうだろう) explores what it means to be human, caught between the brightness of the day and the quietness of the night. This collection of moments where everyday life meets dreams reminds us that we are part of something much bigger, something beautifully complex.

While wandering through Oman, I found myself moving between two worlds—the brightness of the sun and the mystery of the moon. Every day, I witnessed how life unfolds in small, ordinary moments: the way light touches a face, the silence of a familiar place, and how nature whispers when no one is listening.

This project focuses on those fleeting moments that make us feel alive, moments that seem to belong to another realm yet are deeply rooted in our own world.

The images move between the brightness of the sun and the cool quiet of the moonlit night, resonating with our own inner worlds of hope and longing. Through these photographs, I have tried to capture the people and places that have shaped my journey.

Most of the images were taken in Oman, with a few intimate portraits of friends from Bahrain and the UAE. These photographs reflect our universal search for connection, whether with the land beneath our feet, the people around us, or something beyond what we can see.
This work is my way of honoring the land that moves me, the dreams that drive me forward, and the delicate balance between light and shadow that we all experience in this ever-changing, mysterious world.
